Nicola Paul - Green Park

Senior Consultant

Nicola is a diversity and inclusion consultant for Green Park, working with clients around the world to improve and accelerate their levels of inclusion. Nicola’s experience is underpinned by extensive credentials in the field of culture. She holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural Communication from Birkbeck University with a first-class thesis centred on Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and CIPD Level 7 (Master’s Level) in Employee Engagement. She is also a coach through training endorsed by International Coaching Federation (ICF). Before joining Green Park, Nicola worked for Eversheds Sutherland LLP as their Head of Diversity and Inclusion and created the first dedicated position for diversity and inclusion in the John Lewis Partnership. As their Head of Diversity and Inclusion Nicola worked with the Partnership, Waitrose and John Lewis boards and senior management of the company to develop its inclusion capability.

Chico Chakravorty - BAME Recruitment


Chico has over 15 years professional leadership experience across a various sectors including Diversity & Inclusion, Consultancy, Insurance, and Health specialising in business growth, strategy, commercial relationship management and international business. After participating in a global LGBT+ Leadership Contest in 2017, he started consulting with BAME Recruitment Ltd as their Managing Director to make a difference to both clients and candidate experience around D&I initiatives. Chico has just completed his MBA at Durham University Business School focusing on Management Consultancy and Leadership Culture. He is a keen violinist with different chamber groups and orchestras (performing with the newly established UKLGBT+ Symphony Orchestra), sits on the board of trustees for a South Asian Dance Company, is a mentor for the LGBT+ charity Just Like Us, and is a founding member of the London based LGBT+ philanthropic group Out For Good.

Tj Richards - Santander UK & Embrace Network

Customer Experience & Engagement Manager and National Co-Chair

Formerly a Sergeant in the US Air Force before being ‘outed’ and kicked out for her sexuality, TJ is now an Customer Experience & Engagement Manager at Santander UK. She is also the National Co-Chair of Santander UK’s LGBT+ Employee Network. As an ardent supporter of the LGBT+ community, TJ is passionate about calling out disparity and working to educate the public wherever possible.

Emily Coates - Microsoft & GLEAM

Premier Field Engineer & Community Co-Director

Emily works as a Community Co-Director on the GLEAM Board of Directors at Microsoft. GLEAM is the internal LGBTQ+ employee resource group at Microsoft and it’s Emily's job to encourage community and a supportive culture for LGBTQ+ employees at Microsoft.

Jamie Ades - VisitBritain

Senior Destination Manager - Business Events

Jamie joined VisitBritain in May 2018 in the newly created role of Senior Destination Manager in the Business Events team, where he manages strategic partnerships with UK destinations to win more international business events. Before joining VisitBritain, Jamie worked at the Barbican Centre in London, leading on their strategy for international MICE business. Prior to this Jamie was at ExCeL London, London’s international Congress Centre, working on European and International association congress bids, and he has previously held business development roles at the QEII Centre, one of the leading event centres in London.

Karen Kwong - Ren Organisational Consulting


Karen Kwong is a highly experienced executive & business coach who has worked with start-ups and social enterprises through to large established corporates (including FTSE100 companies) across a number of industries including financial services, engineering, retail and media & communications. She also advises boards on their dynamics. Added to this, she spent almost twenty years working at a senior level in fund management. She also has a Masters in Organisational Psychology.

Christopher Sharp - Racing Pride


Chris started out in 2014 at Shout Out UK and wrote about everything from the WEC to rallying and politics. He has won two awards. One for Most Influential Youth Journalist 2015 and another for Contributions to Journalism in 2017 for his Brexit coverage and coverage of the terror attacks that year. More recently, Chris is Co-founder of Racing Pride, a brand new LGBTQ+ Motorsport organisation.

Sanisha Wynter - Girlguiding

Voice & Campaigns Officer

Sanisha Wynter is a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant. Sanisha has recently joined Girlguiding, as their Voice and Campaigns Officer and enjoys uplifting young people's voices, enhancing their opportunities and supporting national campaigns for girls and young women. Previously she worked as the Race Equity and Inclusion Advisor at the National Union of Students (NUS), she led several projects to create race equity in the student movement. She has a great understanding of LGBT issues and aims to influence and inspire BAME and LGBT inclusion. Passionate about looking at diversity through an intersectional lens, Sanisha is committed to raising awareness of barriers to inclusion in the workplace and in communities. Sanisha identifies as a black bi cis woman who lives and thrives with a mental illness.

Michelle Partington - Mentis Training & Consultancy


Michelle was the first female paramedic with the RAF Regiment and was operationally deployed on various tours with the Medical Emergency Response Team. Since retiring from the RAF in 2015 Michelle has undertaken public speaking engagements and is writing a book about her operational experience and her subsequent journey with PTSD. Michelle also delivers Mental Health workshops and lectures; and carries out workplace assessments on stress related absence.

Jacqui Gavin

An award winning role model and public speaker for transgender and gender identity issues working at the heart of UK Civil Service. A proactive self-starter with a passion about ensuring that all sectors of society embrace Diversity and Inclusion - in particular in dealing with issues pertaining to gender identity.

Ata Rahman - Pride in London

Press Officer (Volunteer)

Ata identifies as LGBT+ and is from a South Asian background. He is the Communications Manager for education charity Ark Curriculum Partnershipsand is particularly passionate about affording opportunities to marginalised communities through the power of education and engagement. With a love of all things digital, he has a particular interest in how technology can be used to streamline processes and leave more time to improve personal experience. In his spare time, he volunteers as an English teacher at a community school in West London, as well as running their communications.

Joanne Lockwood - SEE Change Happen


In 2017, Joanne Lockwood founded SEE Change Happen, an Equality Diversity & Inclusion Practice focusing on LGBT+and more specifically providing transgender awareness and support to organisations and businesses all over the UK. Joanne is the first openly transgender past National President of the 90-year-old Men's Club, The Round Table. In 2016 she embarked on her personal rebrand, selling her IT services business and transitioning at the beginning of 2017. Through these experiences, she delivers keynote speeches, seminars and workshops to promote and support transgender individuals breaking down misunderstandings and the fear of 'getting it wrong'.

Gamiel Yafai - Diversity Marketplace


Gamiel is more than an engaging, passionate, seasoned Inclusion & Diversity expert. He was the proud recipient of the Global Diversity Leadership Award presented by the Global HRD Congress 2017 and the author of 'Demystifying Diversity'. Over two decades, Gamiel has developed and delivered numerous Diversity, Inclusion, inclusive leadership, Unconscious Bias and Positive Action change programmes to develop inclusive cultures in organisations of all sizes. He's worked with some of the UK's largest employers to design and implement Change initiatives to attract both new talent from diverse backgrounds and to support existing talent to reach their potential through leading themselves as well as role modelling behaviours for others to follow. Gamiel has been called a subject matter expert in the area of Inclusion and Diversity and talks at many conferences as the key note speaker.
